Tulísh is an ensemble that performs Mexican traditional music on tradtional instruments. Its members however are Dutch, Mexican and Danish. Son Jarocho and the Huapango belong to the main repertoire. Musical director is Mariel Peñaloza, and she plays the jarana, requinto and guitar, and arranges songs and sings as well. Sebastiaan (‘Bas’) Kral plays the huapangera and guitar and sings as well. Wauter Wormser performs on the guitar and small jarana, and sings. René Sommer plays the trumpet.
